
About the speaker:
Cliff has graduate degrees for MIT in Mechanical Engineering and in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering. He has over 30 years of experience in addressing the engineering needs of various offshore sectors including fisheries aquaculture, offshore renewables, and underwater instrumentation. As principal at C.A, Goudey & Associates, he led or collaborated on four ARPA-E Mariner projects related to macroalgae farming, harvesting, and transport. TendOcean™ LLC was formed to commercialize some of the innovations emerging from those projects and other key technologies to encourage the growth of this regenerative sector.
