About speaker:
Ralph (Góos'k') Wolfe is the Director of the Indigenous Stewardship programs for Tlingit & Haida.
In this capacity, Ralph will continue to build out the Seacoast Indigenous Guardians Network , Traditional Food Security Program, Alaskan Youth Stewards, and the Fisheries and Policy programs. Ralph will build the programs and networks to implement environmental stewardship and economic sustainability projects that target traditional foods, energy and natural resources.
Ralph holds an Associate of Arts degree from the University of Alaska Southeast.
Prior to joining Tlingit & Haidahe served as the director of the Sustainable Southeast Partnership, community catalyst for Yakutat, and office manager for Yakutat Tlingit Tribe.
Ralph served as Tlingit & Haida’s Youth Representative and Sealaska's Youth Advisor (2008), mayor of Yakutat (2016), and as a Tlingit & Haida Delegate (2014-2022) and Vice President on the Executive Council (2016-2022).
Ralph is Tlingit and Haida and Eagle Frog of the Kooskadee clan. He is a lifelong Alaskan and was born and raised in Craig, Alaska on Prince of Wales Island. He lives in Yakutat with his wife Gloria and sons Jackson and Jace
