About speaker:
Karlotta Rieve is a Project Manager at Hatch Innovation Services, part of Hatch Blue. She spearheads the development of industry intelligence for the seaweed sector, drawing insights from extensive field research in both leading and emerging seaweed-producing regions. In 2022, she visited over 100 farms across East and Southeast Asia, leading to the creation of Hatch's Seaweed Insights Platform, which has attracted over 18,000 visitors from more than 100 countries. Karlotta co-authored the World Bank Group's report on new and emerging seaweed markets (published in 2023) and has since been collaborating closely with Hatch’s partners to accelerate industry knowledge exchange.
